This Moonlight Kayak Tour will take you to Mission Bay under the glow of moonlight. Perfect for sweethearts in tandem kayaks or anyone who enjoys special, unique activities outdoors. Very romantic! The moon rises over the Sea World area and bathes the bay in golden light. Launch near dusk and enjoy this peaceful experience on the water.

Be prepared to get wet! You will check in, sign waivers, get changed if needed, and then launch into the waves. You will be outfitted with a life jacket and paddles. After a brief paddle instruction and safety talk, you will walk down to the end of the street with your guide to shove off in your kayak. Please note that wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy

If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Shoes that can get wet (Tevas, tennis shoes, river shoes, or flip flops)
Bathing suit or drip dry shorts/shirt

Waterproof flashlight or glow sticks (can also be purchased at the shop, payable on site)
Leash for valuable glasses (can be purchased on site)
Towel (optional and can be left in vehicle or at the shop on site)
Light Jacket for cooler night weather

Stable, open-top kayaks are used (also called sit-on-top kayaks). No experience is required.

Wet suit rentals are offered during fall, winter & spring and are payable on site.
