Experience the most popular biking tour in San Diego!

You will meet at La Jolla, where you will check in, sign waivers, get fitted for a bike, etc. You will then be driven in a comfortable passenger van to the top of Mount Soledad, and the bikes are trucked to the top. Enjoy stunning 360 degree views from Mount Soledad.

After taking in the sights, zoom down the 3.5 mile decent to the ocean. Then bicycle around some of San Diego's most prestigious and quaint neighbors, including La Jolla, Pacific Beach, and Mission Beach. On the return, take in the fun at La Jolla's own seal rookery (the Children's Pool).

The pace is not strenuous, but expect to do some pedaling! Minimum age is 8 years old. The bike riding on this tour is all on bike lanes on roads. This is NOT a mountain biking tour. The first 3.5 miles of your tour is downhill. The rest of the tour (approx. 10 miles) is done on the back streets of La Jolla, Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. The tour is mostly flat, with a few hills (that can be walked up).

Time: 8:30 am, 10:30 am, & 1:30 pm daily

There is a $5.94 CAD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy

If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

This tour is NOT recommended for children under 8 years old. Our Mission Bay Family Bike Tour from San Diego is more suitable for younger children, which is done mainly on bike paths around Mission Bay with only one hill. Trail-a-bikes and trailers are also available for the little ones.
