This fantastic mountain biking tour covers some of San Diego's best wild areas and include a combination of dirt roads and single tracks.

The tour is off-road, so expect to get dirty and bounced around a bit. You will meet at La Jolla where you will check in, sign waivers, get fitted for a bike, etc. Then you will be driven in a comfortable passenger van to the starting point.

The climate allows for year-round mountain biking, unless the trails are closed due to muddy conditions, which is very rare.

The tours are designed for beginning mountain bikers, but will please riders of all abilities! You will ride in local parks including Penasquitos, Mission Trails and the Rose Canyon areas.

Length: approx. 4 hours

Time: 8:00 am daily

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy

If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

This tour is NOT recommended for children under 8 years old. Our Mission Bay Family Bike Tour from San Diego is more suitable for younger children, which is done mainly on bike paths around Mission Bay with only one hill. Trail-a-bikes and trailers are also available for the little ones.
