"Wine" down your weekend by treating yourself to this walking & tasting tour through San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter! As you stroll through the neighborhood, your guide will introduce you to some of the area's most popular wine establishments during this adults-only tasting tour. You'll also learn about wine production in San Diego and throughout the state, as well as the Quarter's rather colorful history, which dates back to the late 1800's.
Regardless of your level of knowledge and expertise about wines, the Gaslamp Quarter Wine Stroll provides an informative afternoon of fun historical facts, samples of world-class vinos and decadent bites that will enhance each sip. The tour covers about 1.25 miles of flat terrain, with 30 to 50-minute stops at several participating local merchants.
Each location's wine guru will greet your tour and offer mouth-watering details about the samples offered at that establishment, in order to help you understand how best to maximize the flavors of each wine.
